Building community
through skateboarding.

A home and collective voice for Sunshine Coast skateboarding—documenting the culture, connecting the community and creating more opportunities to skate and progress.

To grow skateboarding on the Sunshine Coast by creating welcoming opportunities to connect, skate and progress—while celebrating skateboarding’s positive culture and helping every skateboarder pursue their potential.

We bring together skateboarders, families, local businesses and community partners across Gibsons, Sechelt and the SCRD.

The goal is simple: help more people discover skateboarding, support the people already doing it and build a stronger future for skating on the Coast.

Community first.
Progress always.

01 / CONNECT

Bring people together

Welcoming sessions and events for new skaters, experienced skaters, kids, adults and families.

02 / PROGRESS

Create ways to grow

Encouragement, shared knowledge and opportunities for every skateboarder to take their next step.

03 / ADVOCATE

Build a collective voice

Represent local skateboarders and help shape park improvements, new features and future places to skate.

Starting with what matters.

01
Sunday skate sessions

Consistent, low-pressure opportunities to show up, meet people and skate together. Current details are shared on Instagram.

02
More useful places to skate

Supporting practical park additions and improvements, while building toward more weather-friendly options on the Coast.

03
A connected community

Growing a network of skateboarders and families who can share ideas, opportunities and a clear collective direction.

Show up.
Skate together.

Our Sunday sessions are open, welcoming meetups built around skating together. You do not need to be the best skater at the park. Bring your board, bring your curiosity or just come by and see what the community is about.

Share the park.
Respect the session.

Look out for each other

Pay attention to the flow of the park, wait your turn, communicate and give people room to finish their run. Helmets and protective equipment are always encouraged.

All wheels, shared space

Skateboards, scooters, bikes and roller skates can use the park more harmoniously when everyone understands park flow and treats other users with respect.

Welcome progression

Everyone starts somewhere. Encourage people who are learning, make space for different abilities and celebrate the small breakthroughs.

Take care of the place

Keep the park clean, report damage and remember that how we treat our shared spaces helps build support for future improvements.
